[Day 4] Hell

Some of you are discussing serious lawyering with the most serious lawyer. Others are reuniting with old friends, or meeting new ones(?) . . . and some of you are just flat-out riding bad decision dinosaur trains.

That doesn't come into play until after I die and it is temporary. I thought you were hungry.

Tristan's mouth twists, blue eyes flicking up to search Fon's face. He doesn't look a lot different, slit-pupils and horns or not, but there's a sense of agitation about him that is usually missing from the incredibly easy-going demon. "Kind of lost my appetite," he says.

I serve him for a hundred years after I die, the contract is invalidated if he is directly or indirectly responsible for my death. Once the time is over we can renegotiate terms or my soul gets processed as it would have.

"And what exactly did you get out of that?" Tristan asks flatly.

My soul does not get processed until then. I've killed once, I will kill again many times during my life. As much as I am sure I'd deserve whatever eternal torture Hell devices for me, I am sure I won't be looking forward to it.

Can we move to the matter at hand?

"You can't tell me you voluntarily sold your soul in this situation just to stave off eternal punishment a little longer," Tristan says, tilting Fon's chin up with one hand.

[holds his gaze]

There are many reasons, none particularly important nor particularly selfless. I'd like to know if he can be trusted.

"Of course he can't," Tristan tells him, "he's a demon."

On this case specifically, on whose side is he?

"We're all on our own sides," Tristan says. Despite what he said earlier, he's a little handsy, keeping Fon close. "As for the higher motivation, I couldn't tell you. But if that guy is involved in this, I'm even more concerned than I was previously."

[is cool with this, though he tenses whenever Tristan brushes any of the doll joints]

He's the defense attorney, it looks like. The head of the prosecution seems to be a 'Val.'

Tristan freezes a little, then chuckles, bowing his head to murmur in Fon's ear. "Oh really."

... are you fed from receiving blowjobs?

Tristan opens his mouth, then closes it again.

"Yes," he admits reluctantly.

[studies him]

... what's wrong?

"There are a million things wrong," says Tristan curtly. "If you're wondering specifically about the part where I'm not fucking you yet, think of it like, I don't know, someone you hate just licked something you really wanted to eat." He's backing up towards the bed, though, pulling Fon with him.

"I have thousands of those, and no. It's not a personal thing, it's a demon thing."

"Sorry?" Tristan echoes, sitting on the edge of the bed, looking up at Fon.

I probably would have held back on any choices if I had known you'd be here.

Tristan blinks at him. "What?"

... it was the kind of decision I would have liked a sounding board for.

"Oh, yes, use me to your heart's content, then," Tristan scoffs, leaning back on one hand.
