[Final Day] Endgame

There is a noise like broken glass as the giant shadowy snake wavers in place, then falls over, hitting the roof so hard that dust billows up on on various levels of existence, making the whole building shake. You begin to see more people all around you—flickering, as if the layers are merging into one, the separations between them vanishing.

Superimposed over the snake's fading body—yes, there is, in fact, a giant shadow snake, visible to everyone now, even those who had just been fighting Mithos—is a man in a labcoat bending over on his knees, shuddering and grasping at the ground.

"Sssssss . . . thissssss . . ."

He jerks abruptly, then sags a little more, as if losing energy, trying to force his eyes to stay open, but . . .

"Thanks for the help. That was freaky as he-- fuck." She seems to have revised her opinion of how freaky hell is.

I can assure you it wasn't freaky just for you. This is far too much excitement.

"You said it." She looks around, confused. "What even just HAPPENED?"

The levels were all put back into place, if that's how you would describe it. Everything seems relatively back to normal.

"No, I get that part..." She makes some faces.

[gavehimhead]

[sighs]

...I have no idea about the rest of it. I just know it's done with, and that's what matters.

"I guesssssssss..."

[gavehimhead]

[MAKES A FACE]

I never want to hear that voice again. It was so annoying.

[arsgoetia]

She puts a hand to her mouth. "It wasn't a hiss! I guess I can see why that's traumatic now though."

[gavehimhead]

Not traumatic, really...just grating.

"I imagine," she says. A much smaller snake slides up the stair exit and over to Lucia, incidentally.

[uwah, distracted by the snake]

Are all of these snakes yours...?

"Just this one. It's Cherry Laurel."

It does appear to be the same snake, if you are great at snake-identification.

[is observant enough to at least notice that it is very similar to the snake he saw before, yes]

Ah, so it's Cherry. He was a zipper-person the last time I saw him.

Do you know how? I'm assuming it's some kind of transformation magic, but Cherry was rather vague when I tried to ask.
