You enter the courthouse!

The lobby is wide, with twin stairwells leading up left and right. Twisted archetecture fills it, metal beams and twisted wood and stone forming human figures throughout the walls, which bulge strangely. There is a cloud of smoke -- sort of Luka-like, actually -- twisting into various shapes behind the lobby desk. There are screams echoing through the building, sobbing pleas.

Mi- What are these? [examining the sculptures]

[between the twisted figures and the screams, this place really sucks :(]

Is that cloud of smoke another demon? like Luka?

Perhaps the figures were just carved into the walls. Perhaps.

"They're probably other trials," Elli mutters. Luka adds, "Yes, that's a demon too. We're possessor-types."

[Varnani's shadow is getting twitchy at the number of demons around them.]

[between the screams and the idea of questioning the receptionist, Rika's patience just snapped. Quietly giving up on the idea of sticking with people who can actually fight to unobtrusively make her way outside. Maybe she can ask a demon about the way to the entertainment district there.]

[noticing Robin is wandering up the stairs, he's going to forget about the smoke demon and follow her. gotta protect the captain, you never know, these stairs could be deadly]

The stairs are metal and loud. Screams and pleading seems to be coming from this away.

The cloudy receptionist is waiting patiently. Elli and Luka move a little closer and glance back to see who wants to interview said receptionist.
