The stairs are metal and loud. Screams and pleading seems to be coming from this away.

I'm just wandering until I see something that might be useful... but I don't know where to look, and I haven't found anything that can help. I should've gone and talked to the others, at least.

Everyone's just doing their part right? I doubt the others know where to look. If you're looking for something useful, wandering around without knowing where you're going is the best. I'm an expert on that, you can trust me.

It pauses briefly, then swirls into a shape indistinguishable from human, skin flickering through various colours before it mimics your skintone, eye colour, hair colour, though it changes into a slight young man rather than a girl.

"Hello. How can I help you today?"

You soon arrive in the entertainment district. Here, buildings are lower class, tv screens broadcasting static are everywhere, demons and (are those human souls? Surely not) brush around you, and restaurants, bars, gambling dens, strip clubs, and likewise are close together.
