[Game 21] Summoning

For some of you, this may be a familiar feeling. For others, it's a new sensation: a tug, a pull, suddenly finding yourself slipping between the cracks and opening your eyes in someplace that was not where you were a few moments ago. It feels like getting tugged into someone's embrace: warm, a little exhilarating.

As for where you find yourselves:

It's a tidy, well-kept garden in the backyard of a small house with yellow trim. The house is a little run down, but immaculately clean and well-kept. It's a sunny day, and there are literally pies cooling on the windowsill.

There is a red-haired boy standing on the rooftop, looking down at everyone with his hands outstretched. One moment, he seems very calm. The next moment, it's sheer panic.

"Oh???"

Are you feeling okay? I know the whole summoning can be very disorienting.

Okay, so you were summoned here to... help with something. We're not sure with what yet, but once that's handled you'll go back home.

How long does that take? I heard a few days, but is that a few few or more like two weeks?

Usually less than a week, but it doesn't matter much. Before I lived here I was always returned to the same point in time I was taken from and I had no memory of ever having been here.

It was for me. It might depend on the person, though.

That's going to be so disappointing if I forget it all!

The memories were back when I came back, like they were never gone. It was confusing, to say the least.

... yeah, I got to keep those, confusingly.

I'm going to have some weird selfies in my phone when I get home.

[but how can someone go home withOUT trying to get pics of the handsome elf knights, that's just not possible]
