[Game 21] Summoning

For some of you, this may be a familiar feeling. For others, it's a new sensation: a tug, a pull, suddenly finding yourself slipping between the cracks and opening your eyes in someplace that was not where you were a few moments ago. It feels like getting tugged into someone's embrace: warm, a little exhilarating.

As for where you find yourselves:

It's a tidy, well-kept garden in the backyard of a small house with yellow trim. The house is a little run down, but immaculately clean and well-kept. It's a sunny day, and there are literally pies cooling on the windowsill.

There is a red-haired boy standing on the rooftop, looking down at everyone with his hands outstretched. One moment, he seems very calm. The next moment, it's sheer panic.

"Oh???"

[I mean he is never against having an armful of warrior of light?!? He wraps his arms around Arias and pets his hair and obviously something is wrong but?

He'll ask in a minute, just petting Arias for now. HE IS A GOOD ELF WHO CAN BE COMFORTING too bad he can't offer hot cocoa.]

[Like oil and chainmail and soap and pine trees and sweaty man?] Arias. [Said very gently.]

[and not blood and fire and death okok]

[buries his face more and hugs tighter]

[NOT TODAY ANYWAY.] What's wrong? [Gentle and quiet but like, this is unusual behavior?? What happened??]

[shakes his head]

[beleaving]

[Okay. He'll just go back to quietly petting Arias and maybe holding him a little tighter. Sorry if the chainmail isn't that comfortable.]

[chainmail is the least of my concerns right now]

[He could take it off--

I mean he really doesn't mind just hugging Arias and petting his hair this is honestly ideal except for how obviously upset Arias is and that's not good. He does not want Arias to be upset that's the opposite of ideal.]

I am here for you, whatever it is that troubles you.

[takes another deep breath and finally pulls back, rubs at his face and eyes]

I know you are.

[beleaving]

[Cupping his cheek to tilt his head up.] I have been brought to adventure with you, for once. Rely on me, and I shall have your back. And I shall listen, should you decide you wish to speak of it. Until then, I swear on my honor as a knight I shall be a companion you can count on.

[leans up to give him a kiss]
