"I can get one of the demons to drive us most of the way," says David, as their group splits off from the others. "Unfortunately," he adds dryly, "and for obvious reasons, I can't drive us."

"That'll work too," David says, looking at him curiously.

It should be preferable over having one of the demons do it. Odds are they have superiors to report to, right?

"Well, not so long as Lucia has the Seal. But . . . "

I'm good at driving.

"Okay, okay . . . we'll need to take a van or a limo with this many people, though."

Or we could split up further and take two cars. It's your call.

"No," David says. "It's fine . . . we're not going far, and I'll probably stay behind at my apartment."
