No. He is usually very precisely controlled and even better at keeping his feelings to himself, when he wishes.

So either he did not care who knew he was upset over your being chosen or he did not know how to conceal it.

...I'm a bit sorry that you'll have to go, to be honest.

In the many years I have known Itachi I have not once met his brother, despite him being confined to roughly the same area as the rest of us. I gather they do not get along well at all, though it is a very quiet sort of not getting along.

I expect he enjoys this more than he might show.
