[Day 4] Hell

Some of you are discussing serious lawyering with the most serious lawyer. Others are reuniting with old friends, or meeting new ones(?) . . . and some of you are just flat-out riding bad decision dinosaur trains.

[sorta drapehugging her] Um... Well, I think at least he has an idea of how to help you out for everything!

Lucia totally leans into it. "What is it, then?"

You did a lot of things so we have to explain them all somehow, you know, and it's not like we can blame the Sword for everything like with Bastien... Umm, he asked me about you stealing things, and I said other people stole most of the things! So he said if it's like that, if they were mostly presents for you, then that might work. ♥

She blinks. "...would everyone really say that?"

I would say it... Anyway, everyone is here to try and get you free! And I'm pretty sure none of them believe that they have to do everything you say. So they could have just refused. At least, us from camp.

"Yeah... you're right. It's not like anyone had to when it was the stealing stuff..."

As for the other stuff...

--Well, I think he figured out most of that anyway. Somehow. I think he knows what he's doing!

"I hope so," she says, a little bit waveringly. "I mean, imagine if I get stuck with a lawyer who doesn't?"

That wouldn't happen!!

Anyway, if you did get sent to jail we'd probably break you out of jail.

"In hell," she says.

Sure, why not.

She bursts into tears and cuddles his thigh.

...Lucia... [PETTING HER HAIR :(] I definitely don't think you deserve to be in jail.

"Shuri, I'm scared, it's stupid, but I'm scared!"

Well, I would also be scared, and, they could at least give you something to do in here, it's really horrible being stuck in places this small...

"And Davy came by and I was trying to pretend like it doesn't matter but he's a monster and it's my fault and he's worried about me and that's my fault too and he's going to find Dad now and that's my fault too!"

...So... So what?!

"B-but..."

--If you're really mad about doing all of that, then you have to make sure that none of you go to jail so that you can make it up to everybody, afterwards.

"God, Shuri, come down here and hug me already!"

--Fine!

[HUGGING HER. TIGHTLY!!!]

She CLINGS BACK.

[I DON'T KNOW HOW TO COMFORT PEOPLE FROM THIS END THAT WELL OKAY... totally clinging though, burying his face in her hair]
