Then he creates a folder on his phone, closes his eyes and starts taking photographs of the creepybook. he takes photos of the cover and the first ten pages, just to make ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN he gets the table of contents.

The legal history book is extremely boring.

Nothing exciting happens in it. The gist you find after sifting through the words is that since the Fall (which is not gone into in detail) it has emerged that the only thing you can rely on with demons is their word and that they'll try to sneak loopholes in, so in order to be reliably reliable a court exists to force demons to actually be held accountable for the few things they actually DO swear to.

Court procedure is not heavily detailed in this volume, but it seems that demons who violate their own word are tortured and tortured and tortured and tortured...
